It was a tragedy when we all lost Aunt Marian & Sadie! My heart goes out to everybody who knew and loved them. Thank goodness Grandma didn't live long enough to go through losing them and Uncle Sonny. She lost my mom so many years ago when she was only 26 years old from cancer. She wouldn't have been able to handled those loss's at her age. Losing a child has got to be the worse loss in a person's life. I know Ed & Pat tragically lost their only son "Jeff" Land [Sonny's grandson] and he was only 21 years old. Grandma Phillips tried to comfort them reminding them that she too lost a son [my dad] so she understood the pain they were going through. Both of my grandma's grieved their whole lives with losing a child and un-fortunately so is Ed & Pat and their two daughter's, Tracy & Jenny. There are no guarantee's for any of us. That's why we should love one another as if today is our last day here on earth to be with our loved one's. What we would all give for just "ONE MORE DAY" to live, laugh, and love the people we've lost. To give them a hug n' kiss just one last time and tell them "I LOVE YOU". xoxo
